A "Gone with the Wind" Kind of Sunset

I caught one of my all time favorite movies on television the other night: Gone with the Wind. I love everything about that movie, but especially the cinematography. The sunsets are the best. So dramatic and colorful. I never thought sunsets like those in the movie existed in real life . . . until last night. I caught the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. It was shocking how beautiful it was.
I probably took about fifty photographs but here are a few of my favorites:

I apologize for the multitude of sunset photos. There are so many more and I could not choose between these. I really hope to see another sunset like this one in my life time.
I may, after all, tomorrow is another day!

Sunday Sunset

This past Sunday there was the most beautiful sunset. The sky looked like a watercolor. I grabbed my camera and ran to the top of a hill to try and capture it. I think I am going to paint one of these.

I think I will either paint or do a pastel of the third one down.

April Showers . . .

Do not only bring May flowers, but rainbows as well. This rainbow may have been the best I have ever seen. I took these with my phone - had to capture it quick. Happy spring!

Weekend Adventure

We went to a VERY cool used book store a few weekends ago. I have had no time to edit or upload these photos until now. Billy took me here on one of our first dates. He likes to collect first edition and antique books. This is the perfect to place to find a little of both. His brother Michael came with us. If there was ever a nuclear war and you were inside this place - the PILES of books would probably shield you from any radiation. On the other hand if there were an earthquake you would most certainly be squished like a bug from the millions of tons of books that live in this house/store. Both of which I contemplated as we were walking through book land. Upstairs is a little sketchy to me, it seems like the floors are about to give in at any moment. It may seem like a death trap, but in any case, it made for a very fun weekend adventure.

You could get lost and I did. Only once.
